can i drop a clio engine into another car?

Hi, i have a clio mk1 (L reg)diesel with only 51k genuine miles on the clock. Can i drop the engine into another renault or any car as I would like a bit of comfort - central locking/airbags etc. any help much appreciated.

yes you can but you will buy one cheaper.as it is an old one you may have a simple set up on engine ,but its unlikely it will match ecu ect so not be a easy fit unless same model
