ford transit fwd clutch problems?

after replacing the clutch and slave cylinderthere is noise coming from the bellhousing even although the clutch appears to have been fitted correctly and all engine to gearbox bolts have been fitted correctly, also having trouble bleeding the slave cylinder

if its a plastic slave cyl, then you will need to remove clip holding pipe in,and pull pipe out about 1/4" then bleed as normal, finally pushing pipe in and refitting clip.

regarding the age of your veh.depends on whether you have a dual mass flywheel so only you can answer that one, which are bad for rumbling/knocking,if there was no noise before you done the clutch then there may be problems with the one you fitted,if you open the bleeder have found these to bleed themselves with gravity but if that doesn`t work then someone pumping the pedal whilst opening/shutting bleeder might work also,if you are still struggling then a pressure bleeder may be your only option
