HP 890C DeskJet Professional Series will not power up and print?

I have used this printer for years as I have a DOS based floorplan program that I can only print from a parallel printer. This printer now will not power up; the power light will not come on at all. What can I do to get it operating again?

This might sound silly but... is it plugged in? If it is the fuse in the plug could be blown.
