How to fix a Bosch WFG2420GB/01 stuck midway through cycle?

Following a power failure to the washing machine midway through a normal 40° wash, the cycle fails to restart. Have manually drained the washer and got power back into it however the machine now does not respond to 'Start' button.

Any suggestions?
