how to change bearings on lg wd-3243rhd washer dryer combo?

it looks like after only five years my unit needs new bearings. to save the better part of 400 bux id like to try to attempt it myself. anyone know of a free downloadable repair manual or have some pointers? am i silly to attempt this?
