child lock on, door wont open?

I have a 2006 Zafira VXR,2.0 Turbo child lock is on, cant open the rear drivers door. The remote mechanisms are working, could it be faulty wiring as I have read ?
Without being charged the earth by Vauxhall, I dont know how to fix it..
