I brought my American washing machine and tumble dryer with me to the UK from the USA. The washing machine is fine I can use the step down transformer I purchased. I'm having difficulty finding out about the dryer though! It uses 220v and 30amps, I can't seem to find out if it's AC or DC or both. Can I just change the power lead to fit UK socket?

You do not get a DC 220v tumble drier. It is AC, just change the plug
