why wont the water come through from the pump?

we have a talbot express pilote motorhome and cant get any water through are we missing something simple? we turn the water pump on and can hear it turning over but no water comes out of the taps

you may find there is an airlock in the tank switch off the electrics turn on the taps and drive the motorhome around thenturn off the taps put the electrics back on and try the taps again we find this works for us
