I have changed the front brakepads on my 2001 citroen c5,?

I have replaced the front pads on my citroen c5 2.2 diesel (2001) but i think i turned pistons wrong way because the handbrake is not operating properly. how do i re-wind them back on?

I think you'll find you need new handbrake cables and guide tubes. A fairly common problem.

if you wound them the wrong way you wouldn`t get your new pads into the calipers.

once you have fit the pads you must work the handbrake off and on till its re ajusts itself.the cables must be free all the levers free and oiled so they can take up the spare cable.
