my heating has gone on my renault scenic megane ?

The heating has packed up on my 53 plate renault and is making the winter ahead an unbearable thought took it to renault and they reckon about 800 quid to sort it out. Any one got any suggestions please my Mrs is driving me nuts about it.

you haven`t described your fault very well,does the fan not work?no heat?there again it is a Renault so get used to big bills or buy a decent motor in future.
