The timer on my White Knight gas tumble dryer (Model No. BG437) has stopped working and subsequently the drum won't turn and it won't heat up. Would replacing the timer (costing around £60) correct the fault or could it be something else? I don't want to spend £60 and find that doesn't fix it!

are you sure its timer?.It could be other issues.Not saying it isn't but they fail rarely in my opinion
