jaguar 2.0D?

I have an 2004 2.0 Diesel. When going around 70mph it occasionally loses power for a second or so. Alao the exhaust does blow smoke when accelerating but I have put this down to the oil being overfield, is this right?

an overfilled engine with oil can be just as bad as one without,drain off some oil!!!!!!!
