epson printer not printing?

have rx510 photo printer, red light on and will not let me reset or do anything else.. have turned off and on again

Sounds as if it needs the ink pads in the base changing. (Or wash them out and dry them before replacing them - very messy!!!).
Then use SSC Service Utility to reset the counter.
