Browser and icons to big? Your screen resolution is probably set to low.
If you have an LCD monitor,you should set it to it's native resolution: The largest available.
Right-click the desktop.
In Windows XP, chose "Properties"
Sellect the desired resolution.
Depending on your video drivers, you may have direct access to your available resolutions directly from the right-click context menu when right-clicking the desktop.
It can run Windows 7.
In Windows 7, chose "Screen resolution"
Click the item next to "Resolution" and push the slider up as needed. For an LCD display, push it all the way up.
Click OK.
