What is causing my gas dryer to leak water?

My Bosch Nexxt 500 Series gas dryer is leaking water from the right front side which is where the lint filters. I routinely clean the lint filter, but my vacuum cleaner will not go into the bearing shield. I bought an attachment and cleaned it after I read the manual. I failed to read that the bearing shield should be cleaned at least monthly when it was installed. The manual says that I should have seen an "E:" error message, but I haven't.

The dryer is Model # WTMC3521UC & WTMC352SUC, serial # 857060084478014587, FD# 8706 301458. It was installed on 8/6/07. It is located in the master bath which was remodeled last fall. When the contractor moved the dryer back in its place, air outlet was shortened to 4 or 5 inches and it vents directly to the outside. I checked the vent from outside and there is some lint, but only about 1/8 in on one side.

Looking behind the dryer, I saw moisture where the gas line comes into the house and some between the washer and dryer near the back. I did not see that moisture 3 days ago. I did not see any moisture at any connections to the washing machine.

I live in South Carolina and it has been very hot and humid, but the dryer is in an air-conditioned house. Is there anything I can do on my own?

Thank you for your assistance.
