I just got this sewing machine today and I tried to wind a bobbin but you are supposed to hold the balance wheel and turn the stop motion knob toward yourself and my stop motion knob seams to be stuck to the balance wheel. It won't turn forward or back so I can't wind a bobbin to use the machine now. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have a suggestion on how to loosen it up so it will turn again?

handwheel sometimes get extremely tight only way is hold needle bar after removing needle or you may end up with nasty puncture and TURN!if not you will have to open covers and hold top shaft while turning handwheel
