lack of power when pulling off?

iv recently purchased a 2000 x reg zafira which seems to lack power when pulling off but seems to rev up ok when in neutral

any ideas

you dont say if its a diesel/petrol,if it has an intercooler then check for split pipes/leaks,other than that if it is well serviced then a code reader may help with your problem.
