My washing machine seems to be working apart from the drum not spinning on the wash or spin programme. The drum will turn easily by hand and when machine is on when drum should be turning you can hear the motor. When I put it on this morning there was no bangs I just noticed that it was not turning.

The belt has not come off or snapped but I have the same problem it is just the drum not turning during wash/rinse/spin cycle

Sounds like the belt has come off the pulley at the back of the drum or has snapped.
