I was riding home the other evening and my bike decided to die. I literally dropped a gear at a junction and that was it...gone. It had melted two fuses which I replaced but still it won't start. It's been quite smokey when starting lately and would not rev properly for ten minutes or so. I've checked spark compression and fuel and it seems not enough fuel is getting through? Spark is fine but compression is down a touch at 125psi? Should I put some neat fuel down the plug hole and see if she fires up? Could this be caused by the left crank seal??
