Has anyone experienced an oil line coming loose on their wave runners resulting in engine damage??? I have a pair of 1200xlt 2002 Yamaha Wave runners and both oil lines came off resulting in engine damage to one of them. When I talked to the service manager he has seen this happen on a regular basis with all Yamaha Waverunners. I am collecting information for a possible CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT as a result of a weak design that leads to a major expense.

YES. Just saw your post from 2006. I have an SUV 1200 w/ less than 75 hrs. that the oil lines came off and now needs a rebuild. Did you ever go further with this?
