what are possible causes for renault megane 2008 electric window stop working.it stopped working other day then worker ok now faulty again

i have found this great little module replacement on ebay and it is a fantastic piece of kit.
it is half the size of the original module and seems totally waterproof.
it got my windows on my mark 2 renault megane working again.

probly the motor inside the door is gubbed, though i would try wd 40 first to see if that helps, also check the fuse mate. billy.
