How do I change a belt on a Hoover Elite II?

I would like to know how to change my belt on my Hoover Elite II Can you help?

Be careful not to break the cover though, as this has happened to me, and waiting 6 weeks for a new cover was not something I had planned for.

You have to pry the cover off of the base with a flat blade screw driver. The easiest place to pry it underneath is in between the base cover and the base. It may be stobborn if the cover was never off before. If you need any more help, our email is arctic@worldlynx.net
