Why wont my yamaha 350 big bear move when in gear?

I have a 1999 Yamaha 350 big bear 2wd and when it is running and in gear, it will not move in foward or reverse. I drained the oil and it looked fine. Motor has power and runs fine but will not move. No the brake is not on.
