I have a Humax PVR 9200t which is wiping hard drive every few days?

My Humax PVR9200T has developed a problem of wiping the programmes I have recorded every few days. Previously it wiped the Hard drive and would not record but after a few days it started working again. Can anyone help me as it is very annoying to continuously loose what you have taped.

Formatting any hard disk will wipe it. So don't expect to fins any programmes left on it afterwards.

thank you have done that and will wait with baited breath as to whether it wipes our recordings in the next few days.

No one has published a 100% fix for this.

However, it does tend to happen more when the 9200T is permanently left on. Use the remote's standby button after you have finished using it for the day. The standby button on the front of the unit can also be used.

Also use the Humax menus to format the drive next time this happens
1. Press the MENU button.
2. Select Record and press OK.
3. Select HDD Control and press OK.
4. Select Format and press OK.
