i need to replace my 1995 subaru legacy starter?

my car often doesn't start. i know it is the starter because i can pop-start it on a hill and it is fine. it looks like the starter is just connected in four places. any advice before i start removing my old starter? i have never done this before. on a scale of one to ten how easy do you think this process is? i can't really afford to take it in somewhere. so i need all the help i can get.

There is one bolt on top, through the gearbox and into the block, and a nut underneath on the gearbox. 2 electrical connections, one straight from the battery held on by a 13mm copper nut, one from the ignition switch which is a spade connector.

Takes about 20 minutes.
