I've returned from holidays to find my Piaggio Zip50 two-stroke won't start up. Engine sounds like it's in slow-mo on electric start and won;t do anything at all on kick-start. Is there a trick to getting scooters going after sitting idle for a couple of weeks? Battery or spark plug maybe?

there's no trick to it, charge the battery back up, clean and gap the spark plug and put fresh petrol in the tank.
