panel light for Battery & Stop not going out?

Have Renault DCI 100 van, been lieing unused due to weather battery warning light on and also stop warning light. battery was low now charged up, but lights are'nt going out has anyone any thoughts

disconnect the battery.fully charge it and then reconnect it to the van and see what happens
