Everything else works. Cover failed years ago and replaced with plug retained by band-aid. Switch now does not work with light flashing so nothing starts.

WD40 spray has solved problem for now.
Local repair agent asked question with no response - too hard?
Sad the throw away society has come to this - Governments have failed to hold suppliers responsible for reducing unnecessary wasteful practices.

Depends if you can find a push button switch the same or someone who has an old board that can take the switch off theirs and solder it on to yours. Best bet is to phone a local service company & ask them what they can do. Take the panel off & take it in to them to save some money.
