incase you do not know it ck,a lot of modern washing machines have two lives going to each componet,the timer or control module switches on the neutral side to advoid interference with tv,s or radio

un plug it from mains power first ,and be careful the pressure chamber does not fill up with water .ck,if your going to give advice tell them to unplug the machine from the power supply,or you could find yourself in very deep trouble if the public kill themselfs
