Can't find the Engine Number - Fiat Ducato - Hymer 654?
I need the engine number of my 1996 Fiat Ducato based Hymer 654. Originally German reg. It was exported to UK and now I have exported it to Portugal. I am trying to complete Portugese Matriculation on it, but noone (including me) can find the engine number. My UK Reg. Doc. states Engine Number: Not Known. The authorities here will not complete without seeing an engine number.
I have the same trouble here in Portugal...Why FIAT hide the motor nunber, that is not normal,Now I need pay FIAT to give me a document that prove the nunber of that motor, and I need to pay!Very clever...

I have now solved this, the engine number is BEHIND the fuel pump which has to be removed to get at it. Well done Fiat!!
