Washing machine?

I've been looking at the problems with the Electrolux EWX14440W, as described in this forum. They talk about the same faults I've had, with starting then stopping, and going back to the flashing Start button. CK, thanks for suggestion. Have tried, but no joy. Still no power. Perhaps I didn't explain properly that I have no power going to the panel, no lights, no display.

try disconnecting the wires to the dryer heating element.take a picture or make a note where each of the 4 wires go.put insulation tape around the spade connections and then try a straight wash program and see what happens
