How can I fix Renault trafic van rear brake caliper piston?

replaced the rear discs on my trafic van, with new pads I had to adjust the piston position on caliper clockwise to screw in, however, piston rotates but doesn,t screw in any ideas
thanks

I applied pressure with a gclamp while winding clockwise with soft jawed grips

also best to open the brake fluid nipple on the caliper. this will make it easier to get the piston back. otherwise its alot harder. and u will need to turn it anti clockwise at it winds forward clockwise

Thanks cdc
Drivers side rear, went to screw anti clockwise, but it was screwing out, returned to screwing clockwise but remains out.
perhaps I need to apply pressure to end of piston while screwing clockwise, using the tool from my dewalt hand grinding wheel .
Thanks

If you have the correct wind back tool then it should apply a slight pressure while screwing in,also, not too sure about Renaults but sometimes the o/s is clockwise and n/s screw in a/clock on some models, good luck
