How can I fix my hotpoint aquarius tcm580 dryer ?

We have a hotpoint aquarius tcm580 dryer it is not starting ..it makes a humming noise but nothing else...when I look in to drum I can see element glowing red

the start capacitor on the motor has gone jjust replace it but remove the plug from the mains socket before opening the machine
