where is top of struts,are they under bonnet or under carpet in cab. or does part of dash have to be removed.

They are on top of the wheel archs inside the cabin you can get to the bolts that hold them in without taking any dash panaling out. Soak will loads of WD40 or simular to stop the bolts snapping when you take them out
