driving about 60 km it display error message[geabox sign on dash] and tells me to stop the car.megane 1 1.6 automatic 2001 model,does that often,when i toucht it is too hot
are you sure it says 'stop the car' as that usually is a brake fault. Gearbox fault lamp will give third gear only and may generate a little more heat. Codes need reading for a better idea of fault.
