My dyson DC04 has lost suction from the hose extension only,there is no blockage anywhere as I have had the lot to pieces and cleaned up the seals.There is a high pitched sound when the machine is upright !
Any idea's ?

You need to go on to the dyson website, go in the customer service section and follow the on-line technical help. I had exactly the same problem and it was just the wand that was blocked. But the website will guide you through the steps you need to find the problem and resolve it.
