overheating 207?

hi .Help!
my pe 207 keeps overheating and water is steaming out of the filler can.
head gasket is done / sensors and fan are ok
could it be the ecu .it has already had a ecu basic check but they found nothing so i am thinking of taking it to a dealer if i can afford it
Thanks

Is the water circulating in the reservoir? If not your water pump may need looked at, has the thermostat been checked, Is the radiator getting hot right across the whole surface, a coolant flush may help to clean out your system. If your fan is cutting in ok like you say then I very much doubt an ECU has anything to do with your problem.
