Your question is not very clear and suggests that you have a non-working TV but no remote control for it - most unusual - you don't even mention the remote control - slightly suspicious and you don't say the make or model of the TV.
Your TV may have a defective on/off button but more likely has a broken power supply - a bad connection disturbed by rough handling perhaps.
It might need to be seen by a TV doctor.
