alarms?

I have a central locking problem so thought I'd try and disconnect battery.....locks NOW seem to work....but alarm goes off all the time even with keys in ignition? any ideas? alarm lasts for 2 or 3 minutes then stops but hazard lights keep flashing

Have no idea what sort of motor you have but it may need to go onto a suitable computer to re configure your security system, just a guess.
