Hello, My Astra 2001 1.4 16v ls developed a problem, the light came on with picture of CAR and spanner over. which was diagnosed as P0400. Was told to blank the EGR valve off. I have done this.

Now the engine control indicator light has come on
(picture of ENGINE) any ideas please, would greatly appreciate any help.
