How do I open port 1 on my lexus is200 so I can do my own diagnostic on the car. I have the OBD 11 cable and software but doesn't tell me how to open port1.

Normaly, the com port1 is on your PC.

Physicaly, it relate to a serial port on the back of the PC. It's a 9 pins connector. The pins are on 2 rows, one of 5 and one of 4.

Most PCs should have 2 of those. One is com port1 and the other is com port2.
If it don't work with one, try the other.

Make sure that it's not set to "Disabled"
