how do i get rid of SAFE and get my ecron vcr to work?

I have a Ecron VCR which displays SAFE and will not work. I have no remote. How can I get it to unlock?

I have an Aiwa video recorder model number HV-GX1250 and on display it's displayed 'SAFE' and when it does sometimes the video works normally and sometimes it does not work at all. anyone know what is the problem please
