I have an Amana LW1200 washing machine and I know the serial number. Does anyone know of a way to find out how old it is? It was already at my house when I moved in.

Also, as long as I'm here. The problem with it is that the agitator will not move anymore. It fills up and drains fine and makes noise as if it were working. But no agitation or spinning. Any brilliant ideas for an easy fix? Thanks.
