zanussi zdc 76550w tumble dryer is not working?

After the water tank was full and emptied nothing seems to work not even the lights.

some Zanussi dryers have a micro switch in the kickplate which operates when you close the flap for the condenser. if this switch does not make contact nothing works as you describe. cheers
