i have a push murray mower and the mower will not stay on or idled the last time i used it the mower shut off on me 2x but i was finished with the job and now it wont stay on all together? what can i do? trying to fix it as a woman but dont know where to start..

It may just need an adjustment on the idle screw or the carb needs to be cleaned, you do not give model or type numbers that would help.
