The drum in my drier has stopped rotating?

Kenwood Condenser Drier KCD1W. I thought the belt had broken but on taking the top off, the belt is fine. The drum will rotate by hand and the heater isworking. Any ideas???

Rotated the drum quite a few times back and forward and it started to rotate itself. I've screwed the lid back on - go figure?
