ldv pilot 1.9 diesel 2001. the interior light doesnt work ?

the interior light doesn't work, and when using the lights the dashboard doesn't light up. I bought van 2 days ago, no big problems so well pleased. Hopefully just a fuse. does anyone know if the two lights are connected ? thanks.....Doug

may be a reason the lights dont work, or is it the bulbs have been taken out?.

don`t think the faults are connected,I think there are dash bulbs in these,worth checking,as for interior lights check bulbs and door switches
