Electrolux epic 8000 , shuts off on med and high?

I've been told there's a computer chip in the body of the machine that can cause this problem. Anyone know how to get to it.

The electronics are located in the handle of the hose assembly. First verify that the motor in the canister is not causing excess current (a shorted armature or bad windings). If the motor runs the way it should, the PCB in the hose is the problem. If you need any more help, our email is arctic@worldlynx.net
