Where can I find a charger for my stairlift, will any charger fit

The charger on the 420 does not carry any fuses itself, only the one in the spur/plug. The charger should be giving around 27 or 28 Volts D.C. this can be checked with a multi meter.
These chargers can be prone to failure over time.

hi marie...........you can by a charger on any stair lift parts webb sites or sometimes i have seen them on ebay but they do not come cheap!!!...have you checked the fuses first there are 2 on the charger itself and a 2 amp one in the spur supply on the wall...........hope this helps..........paul....portsmouth/uk
