Triton opal pressure and heat issue?

Hi,

I have seen some of the threads with regards to changing the C3 capacitor for the common problem with the triton opal series showers where the shower does not reach full pressure and was wandering if the same applied to my issue.

The shower has high pressure when on a med or luke warm heat but the higher you raise the temp the lower the pressure gets until you get to a heat that is hot enough to shower but then the pressure is so low there is no point using the shower. At no time does the low pressure light come on. Is this the same issue and the c3 capacitor will fix it or do you know wjhat the issue could be?

Many thanks in advance.

Unfortunately its not that simple, tests would have to be carried out to establish where the fault lies whether it is the PCB or an element. Electric showers work by producing a fixed amount of heat the temperature variation is achieved by altering the amount of water flow through the shower,so the hotter you want it the slower the water.
To get to the state you have i would say an element has gone but only testing can prove it
